Kendra Tapie is the Regional Director of Prevention and has dedicated herself since 2007 to the Impact Prevention Program. She is a trainer for the Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Skills Training. She has a M.Ed in Counseling and Human Development and is an Advanced Certified Prevention Specialist.
Candace Gail Kennemar serves as the Director of Prevention in Abilene. She has been a secondary teacher and principal for the past twenty-five years, and she is now a Licensed professional Counselor Intern. She coordinates with local school systems to provide prevention education and works in the community to offer alternative activities and presentations about Substance Abuse Prevention through reducing risk factors and building protective factors in all ages.

Chase Hartgraves an expert in group games, is the Assistant Director of the Youth Impact Prevention unit of Serenity House Abilene. He has been working in the field of prevention for over 2 ½ years, and has recently been promoted to the Assistant Director position. Prior to working within the area schools for Serenity House, Chase recognized his love for working with children during his time volunteering for The Boys and Girls Club of Abilene while in college. Born and raised in Abilene, Chase attended Wylie ISD before going to Hardin-Simmons University for both his Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science and his Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Development. He is currently working to obtain his Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) credential from the State of Texas. Chase believes that education is vital in unlocking children’s abilities to overcome the challenges of their environment, while giving them the strength to live productive substance free lives.>

Kimberly Lewis has grown up in Abilene and attended Abilene Christian University for her bachelor degree. She travels regularly to work with teenagers around the world and has a heart for youth. With a background in theatre and music, she brings creativity and fun to the classroom. Her desire is for every student she encounters to feel loved, accepted, and walk away from her class with a greater self-concept and higher self-esteem.

MacKenzie Webb came to Abilene from Fort Worth in 2010, to attend Abilene Christian University. After graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science, I then pursued a Masters in Education from Hardin Simmons University in Counseling. I recently graduated in 2016 and soon after I started at Serenity Impact! I implement the YPU-TGFD curriculum and I have taught all grade levels (PK-High School). I really love spending time with all the students and helping them grow emotionally, mentally, and socially. It also looks like I won’t be leaving Abilene anytime soon, as my soon-to-be husband is a Rookie Firefighter with the Abilene Fire Department!

Jordan Ronalder is born and raised in Abilene, Jordan Ronalder has experienced and always appreciated the strong community and family oriented characteristic that her hometown offers. As a Prevention Specialist she recognizes the impact these two factors play in protecting and strengthening our youth. Her desire is to see each child thrive socially and emotionally. Bryan Lewis works with children of all ages. His main purpose is to insure that the students he is educating will find the importance of living a healthy and drug free life style. Bryan graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Digital Entertainment Technology and a focus on Graphic Design. Bryan uses his talents daily to inspire and educate students.

Jayme Hayward received her bachelors degree in May 2014 from Hardin Simmons University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business Management. She then received her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Marriage Family Therapy from Hardin Simmons University in August 2016 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern (Supervised by Nancy Elliot, M.S., LPCS). Since August of 2016 she has worked for the Impact Prevention team as a Prevention Specialist. Jayme volunteers with Hendrick Hospice Care’s Club Courage and Camp Courage a support group and camp for children who have suffered a loss. She is also the treasurer for the Abilene Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. In the summer she loves to serve at her favorite place on earth, White River Youth Camp, a church camp in a small town called Spur, TX. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, painting, watching movies, and baking.
