Serenity House Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention
Abilene, Texas is the home of our detox center and our largest treatment center. Since 1984, Serenity House has helped over 36,000 people with substance abuse. Our Abilene treatment center has been designed to feel like a home, so that you or your loved on can be at ease as you go through the program.
Our detox facility currently accommodates 20 clients. Detox is overseen 24/7 by our expert staff of nurses and physicians who help patients go through the initial stages of withdrawal in a way that is safe and as comfortable as possible.
Our residential treatment program is a coed rehab, with separate housing for men and women. We offer different styles of accommodation based on a client’s needs. We offer a variety of amenities that are useful in the drug and alcohol recovery process. These include:
– Chapel (used for spiritual services as well as events like graduation)
– Fitness and recreation opportunities
– On-site dining facility
