The recovery program in Fredericksburg is identical to the program in Abilene. That said, there are a few differences in the locations themselves. The facility in Fredericksburg is smaller than its Abilene counterpart (it does not offer detoxification services) and it is also located in a country setting.
Transportation is provided in Fredericksburg, to both the health club and off-site support groups meetings. In Abilene, the patients walk less than one city block to the fitness and recreation center made available to them, and transportation is provided to off-site support group meetings.
All clients in need of detox must first arrive in Abilene to go through detoxification. If the ultimate treatment site is Fredericksburg, the Serenity staff will transport the patient to the site, when the doctors and nurses have approved departure.
Our Abilene campus is coed. Presently, our Fredericksburg campus is male only.
You will not be using your car while at Serenity, so it is best not to bring it at all. Serenity will provide all necessary transportation during your stay.
Twice each week our clients in both Abilene and Fredericksburg are provided access to a fitness and recreation center. They will not, however, have access to a pool.
