Our 12-week outpatient treatment is a convenient, affordable treatment option that allows you to enjoy many of the resources offered in residential treatment without leaving your family, job, etc. Outpatient care includes individual and group counseling as well as lectures. The frequency of these sessions is reduced from the more intense residential treatment schedule.
Outpatient treatment is a solution that is appropriate for someone with substance use disorder, but may not have developed a diagnosis of dependency. Persons who benefit from outpatient treatment typically have longer periods of sobriety between relapses and enjoy a living environment that is conducive for their recovery.
Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Outpatient treatment includes group counseling and psychoeducational lectures that are facilitated weekly. You get to participate in two classes per week, totaling four hours. We encourage two individual counseling sessions to be scheduled monthly. In group and individual counseling, in conjunction with personal study time, patients work to address the underlying factors that contribute to substance abuse, focus on cognitive restructuring, and the building of positive habits. Patients should remain enrolled in outpatient treatment for the full 12 weeks to experience the full benefit of the program.
You may pick either morning, evening, or switch them up depending on your schedule, but you must participate in classes twice a week for 12 weeks. Three consecutive missed classes or a total of 5 missed classes will result in discharge and ineligibility for a Certificate of Completion.
To respect the confidentiality of participants, only enrolled members may attend.
You will have a personal, individual counselor and schedule individual counseling session with them to fit your schedule.
Outpatient treatment is held at 149 Grape Street in Abilene, TX.
